Adjusting the width of the active topics

How can i adjust the width of the activate topics page espeically when i increased the length of the Subject. The content will go all the way to the end. Is there anyway that I can adjust it to the fix width and when the text reach the fixed width then it will automatic go to the second line of the subject instead of going all the way. Thanks
