Bruce, how come in my member profiles member's genders are coming up as "1". This is even happening with new members

The only time I have heard of such an issue was due to the person having used a mod in an older version to show genders.

If you used a mod in an old version to have members gender shown then this will be the problem as it more likely set the database field to a bit datatype and not a text which the official version uses.

My Gender Script mod used the field name "Gender_mod" so should not conflict with the latest version of WWF.

There was one in the "Mega Mod" which i believe also used "Gender_mod".

thats the thing, i use no mod.
Cry some people have male/female, but most are just 1's...i'll look around more see what i can find

so weird, on my localhost everything is fine when i register a male, female, nothing but in all my new members in prod are coming up as 1...and even when i register in production it DOES show up as "male"....im baffled as to how/why people are getting 1's

The text is taken from the drop down box that the user selects their gender from. Check that this test is correct on your registration page.

so weird, it IS putting male, when i test it on localhost AND when i make a test person in production. but my last 3 ppl have been a 1....man i'm at a loss
