Odd Log in problem

Hi Everyone

I have a really weird problem. At home on my PC i can access my web wiz forum no problems. On my laptop at work it constantly logs me out when I try to post a message etc.  I have tried:

  • deleting cookies
  • setting cookie settings to lowest possible
  • setting all internet options to lowest possible
  • taking the proxy server off

Yet it still happens  . . .any ideas?

It could be currupted cookie index in IE, this is common with IE.

To restore it you need to first delete all internet files, then delete all cookies, this will reset the cookie index.

Alternatively use a better browser like Mozilla Firebird as IE is getting a little old hat these days with allot of features missing, bugs and slow running.

I tried what you suggested and I have also un-installed IE6 and then tried IE5 instead then tried going back to IE6 still no joy.

Sadly it is a company laptop so we aren't allowed to use alternative browsers

I am at the end of my teather now as it works at home on my PC running IE6 its just really weird and I am getting withdrawel symptoms. 

Oh but I can use this forum fine which is odd

Sounds like it could be a problem with the way you connect to your site then. Not  sure what else to suggest though.
