I am real new to Web Wiz Forum script and I think that it is truly a great program so much so that I am dumping the UBB from InfoPop to use this one as it is much faster than the UBB.

I have searched every area of this forum and couldn't find anything on how to import the members info and posts from the UBB forum into WebWiz.

I'm a real newbie at scripts and have little experience with databases but have used Access (which is what I'm using for this forum).

Anyone have a quick and easy method to import the UBB into this forum?

I manage a free community site for my City --- it's catching on fast and would hate to loose the all the members and data that I have collected so far.

Thank you in advance for any help that you give on this.

There is no simple way to import members without writting some sort of import program, even then if there is any sort of encryption on passwords it may not be possible.

With a very special thanks to a Snitz/asp person, he was able to import UBB data to Snitz.. all in access db

Now my question is... can I import this Snitz Access DB data into Web Wiz?

Yes it is possible, but it will take some work.

Yes,you can, I have import Snitz to Wiz successful. And mine is import this Snitz Access DB data into Web Wiz Mssql.

When you import ,you must pay attention to the date and the content format.

Hi,

I have looked at each of the access db for the Snitz and WebWiz, the tables are completly different.

Being a non-db person, what is the easiest way to import the Snitz DB into the WebWize db?

I thought of changing the table names on the Snitz but again not being a db person I don't think that would work based on the structure differences.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
