Limit of textarea?

Hello,
 
I keep posting many articles in ma forum from various blogs. My forum version is 8.04. I just want to know whether there is any limit for the text area in the post. i.e. is it possible for me to post around 100 pages at a time in a single post?

The limit to the size of posts has to do with the ASP Response buffer size on the server, which is normally set at 100KB.

The response buffer holds lots of information including browser headers, cookies, form data, and other data, so the size limit of the post would be different for every user and every site, so there is no guaranteed way to calculate the post size exactly.

If you add into this whether the post is plain text, copied from word, etc. then this also effects the amount of visible characters that can be used in a post.

hmm.. well I actually copied a page of Photoshop tutorials. When I saved it as Microsoft Office Word 2007 format, it was arounf 1 MB. But I pasted it in MSO 97 - 2K3 Format, went on around 4.75 MB. I just pasted it in the forum and, it took around 15 secs and the post is been posted. (The size of increase in Database is just around 300 KB - MSAccess).
