Hi,
 
I get this error when posting a new post where I have uploaded a image:
 
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0046'

Permission denied

/forum/new_post.asp, line 374

This is a permissions error. It means that you do not have the correct permissions to move the file from the temp folder to it's permanent position when you submit the post.

If you can not get the permissions problem on the server fixed, you may want to look at version 9 which uses a different way to upload images.

For security reasons you should upgrade to version 9 anyway.
