Hello,

When I'm trying to upload things I'm getting this error

Server.MapPath() error 'ASP 0174 : 80004005'

Invalid Path Character(s)

/forum/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 151

An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.

I searched the forum for answer but didn't find.

I'm using ASPupload that installed on the server

I'm using WWforum v7.6

Any help will be welcome

Well, I don't know the solution yet, but i can deffently say that it's caused by your Hebrew User Name.

In the admin area on the page you configure the upload component change the slashes in the path. ie. if you have / change them to \ or vise versa.

It's still not working.

I think that I know what's the problem...in English we write from left to right but in Hebrew we write from right to left so when I'm using a user name in Hebrew the path to the folder is wrong.

e.g

English user name : http://www.site-name.com/forum/uploads/username/file.gif

Hebrew user name : http://www.site-name.com/forum/uploads/file.gif/username

Could be?

No, the problem is in creating the Hebrew User Name Folder on server.
