hi,
 
i have a client that needs a forum cleaned but doesnt want the post count altered as in the number of posts they have done stays but physical topics in the forum are reduced.
 
when you do a batch delete does the post count also alter or is that only done on a re sync or not again.
 
i will have to look into this i think

dj air, i've been thinking about cleaning out my forum also, but didn't want to lose each of the member's post count. can you let us know what you find after you look into this.

i will look into this, thinking on it, i dont think it would else it would be a big strain on the application /script.

just to let you know post counts do not change if a batch delete is done.

but BORG not sure if corrected in V9 but in v8 you have a session.timeout but no server.timeout, mine kept timing out, needs a time out of about 1000

as we had over 185K posts in out forum
