Is there anyway to have the quoted post shaded somewhat?

In this new version when one quotes another and another it just carry's on and on. Can the software be that it is just quoting the last quote of that poster instead of carring over with all quotes in sequence?

And can the quotes area be somewhat shaded?

They all blend together to much and are only divided by a small visible to us with good eyes a dotted line.

Thanks

Probably easier to tell your users to stop getting carried away with the quote button, you can see the post displayed in the previous post so you don't need to quote it.

It's a linear style flat board so unless you need to bring up something that was a number of posts previously you shouldn't need to use the quote button, just use reply.
