I have installed the forum software but by running the forum there are no navigation buttons and icons

could somebody help me

Have you uploaded all the images to their correct folders?

Yes i can see them in the forum_images directory

is a place where I can change the image path

 

the structure is like this

c:\inetpub\wwwroot\hostname.nl\forum

in that directory are all the subdirectorys

If you right click on the empty image icons and select properties, what path is it giving to the image? Also make sure that this path is correct.

the path is http://www.hostname.nl/forum_images/members_list.gif

forum/forum_images should be correct one

Looking at the link you gave me in a PM, it looks like you havn't given permission for the IUSR account to read in the images directory, so anyone looking at the site with a web browser gets the error:-

HTTP 403.2 - Forbidden: Read Access Forbidden
Internet Information Services

In the iamges folder, so that no images can be read by the requesting browser.
