Hi There

I am getting the following error message when i try to delete a member. Any idea how to fix it.

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

Could be a corrupted database as this is common with Access databases.

You would need to download the database and open it in Access and select, 'Compact and Repair Database' from the Tools menu.

Also you may want to just suspend the member which is recommended over deleting the member so that their posts remain under their name, and also stop them from signing up again under the same name.

I'll give it a try. If it doesn't work I'll just suspend the member.

Can we stop suspended members showing in the members list?

It's not something that has ever been asked before so it's not built into the software.
