I'm tryng the forum right now, and I don't understand a few things:

a) how do I set a user as a member of a group?

b) Is it possible to hide categories to users having no access to any of the category's forums?

Thanks!

Members can be set in a group by a mod or admin adding them to a group via the profile page.

There are mod that allows to hide categories that a user should not see.

thanks, now it's clear. Another question about categories: is it possible to give a user possibility to access a whole category, not needing to activate him every single forum?

Uh, another thing: when a user il logged in a forum, in the dropdown menu "go to forum" are displayed all forums even those closed to that user. Is there a mod for this bug? (It's a nonsense, so I think it's a bug...). Thanks again!
