7.01 to 7.7 update

fisrt of all Thanx a lot about version 7.7

İ am trying to update my forum from 7.01 to 7.7

i have downloaded 7.7 and uploaded all files...Then uploaded my 7.01's database(mdb) to new forum...(have 900 posts and 250 members)

İ am testing the new forum with my old database .i couldnt see any problem but i cant be sure if there will be.

So i wanted to ask the builders and Admins...İs there any changes i must do with database or asp codes...?

İ got this error when i click the search button

Then i wrote a word to search and clicked enter then i got this error

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'

Invalid SQL statement; expected 'DELETE', 'INSERT', 'PROCEDURE', 'SELECT', or 'UPDATE'.

The fiirst error is that the language file s you are using are not for the version of the forum you are using. Update the files in the language file folder to the files from the latest version, or reupload as they maybe corrupted.

The second error, the compact and repair feature will not work on all servers as the correct MDAC version needs to be installed as well as the correct permissions. It looks like you don't have sufficient permisisons to delete files in the database directory.

You can always do the compact and repair by downloading the database and doing it in MS Access, the compact and repair tool is found under the tools menu.
