    Posted: 15 February 2004 at 10:34am

  Hi everyone,

I have just setup my webserver running WebWiz and my problem is that when I have a newuser registration the e-mails they are getting have an incorrect URL link to the forum.  It is not listing the URL corectly, I think it is due to the fact that when I first setup WEB WIZ I think I used an incorrect address for my forum and now it is defaulting to that in my e-mail registration links.  Is there anyway I could fix this without having to re-install, as I have taken the server offline and would like to fix it so I can get it back. Or they I have to reinstall it all. Thanks...

You need to set the correct path to the forum in the admin area under the email configuration part.

I have fixed the problem.  I did change the path in the admin settings for the forum, but it also requires you to restart your IIS services for it to become efeective. Thanks...

Just create an HTML link to the download file, either using the link button in the editor or using forum codes.
