I need to upgrade my forum here:

http://www.owensboro.cc/forum and add a couple more on the same site, with just different url's. Who wants to do it? How much do you charge?

donnie@haganconstruction.com

Thanks
Donnie

Just chekcing everyone understands exactly what you are after.....

  • You want to just upgrade your forum software from 7.01 to 7.7a for the site at http://www.owensboro.cc/forum?
  • You aren't shifting server at all?
  • What is it running?  Access or SQL Server
  • Have you added any MOD's at all?
  • DO you require any additional MODS at all?
  • When you say "add a few different URL's", you mean you want a few different URL's to all point to the same forum install and use the same backend database?  You realise cookies dont transfer between "domains", even tho' the sites may be on the same server.....

PS

If you are running an Access database, check here:

http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=9056

Basically all you need to do for 7.01 -> 7.7 is replace the ASP pages.  I will hold therefore that the same applies for going to 7.7a ... assuming you are using an Access database.

PPS.  YOur site looks like a plain vanilla install.  7 members, 4 posts and no customisation (in terms of layout) ... have you tried upgrading.... as it looks it would take about 2 mins?
