I received the below error when I placed a large post. Is it possible to alter the code on the page or another page, in order to accept larger posts? Is the limit placed because of the database or did the programmers pick a number? I use MYSQL database. Also is it possible to increase the subject size also?

There is a limitation in ASP's response object which means that it can only hold 100kb of data.

The ASP response object holds allot of data sent by the user browser including, cookie, browser headers, form data, etc.

This is a limit of ASP so nothing can be done about this. What you will need to do is split your post across posts, or if you are pasting from Word place the text into notepad then copy and paste from there as Word tends to bulk things up with vast amounts of un-needed code.

Is it possible to increase the subject size on new posts. I find it to be too small some times.

that error msg. looks like an issue you'll need to take up with your Host.   too many connections to the mySQL server is taking place and that is the problem.
