I have a older version 7 that I am using.  I am working to update to version 8.05.  I installed the forum in a test location and modified so it could pick right up where my version 7 was.  When I deployed it the user version and the test version seem to be conficting.  It is showing the test verion logo in the top left and the test versions stats along the bottom.  If I go into the admin. control panel the links are correct for the logo, when I select "update forum" in the control panel (without making any changes) it corrects the logo.  When I go back to the test forum it is also changed there.  The forum is on the same website but in different folders and even the database name is different.

Any idea's why this would be happening?  I have seen this on both IE7 and Firefox 1.5.  I clear the cache and restart the browser and am seeing the same things.

Craig

This is usually caused by the prefix used to store session data, change the newer forum to a different prefix.
