OK this is really, really, annoying.

I'm using Firefox 2.0, and when I try to paste a hyperlink:
http://forum.digi-reality.net/

It doesn't automatically make it a hyperlink. This isn't hard to implement, is there any update on when it will be implemented? This is one thing that bugs me all the time!

If you type in a hyperlink in using IE it's RTE API automactically detects this and turns it into a hyperlink.

Firefox's built in RTE API doesn't currently do this.

To implement this in the RTE, would require quite complex javascript detection system, but if you know a simple way to implement this, then please share it with us.

I don't program in JavaScript or ASP Classic anymore.

However, if the forums support UBB code then is it possible to write a javascript that automatically wraps [URL] [/URL] around the hyper link (in the background when form is submitted)?

This way the forum would process the link.

This problem should be solved by Webwiz programmers.
There are many firefox users.
It is really bad that I can click the links.
[url] tag does not work too.
