Users are subscribed to recieve email notification to new posts and replys to posts they have made. 

They are getting the notifications to the replies but not to new posts.
 
Under Control Panel>Email Notification Configuration> Enable Email Features> Email Notify is On

To be notified of all posts within a forum your users need to subscribe to the forum by going to their 'Forum Settings' page and clinking on the 'Email Subscriptions' page and subscribing to the forum they want notifications from.

Thanks for response.

Forum members had been advise to do this and were subscribed to email notifications, including myself. I ammeded the email address of the forum and the notifications stopped working. I then reset it back to original address and it seemed to work but for replies only. I then resubscribed to all Forums but the notifications have stopped.  Can't see why?

Contact your web hosts as they may have limitations on sending emails through the SMTP server.

I am hosting this locally and there are no limitations on SMTP server. Just tested the Private Messanger which is also set to email notify and this works fine. The issue is recieving notifications for new posts and also I now cannot recieve notifications to replies to posts?
