I had a corruption or hack to my SQL derver, could not get into to anything.

Managed to get my community.mdf and .ldf fikles out they look OK and intact.  Uninstalled and re-installed sql and attached the mdf, its all there in (Local) with sp's and all....

I get the following when trying to login in

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0400'

Expected statement

/community/admin/SQL_server_connection.asp, line 49

0
^

I have edited the SQL_server_connection.asp file tried every combination but without luck

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

By the error is looks like there is something there shouldn't be on line 49 of the file admin/SQL_server_connection.asp, by the error is looks like it may be a missed place '0' that needs to be removed from the line.

Thank you so much, used a new copy of the file and it worked first time.

What I want to know is how it got corrupted?

Neil

Could have been a slip on the keyboard when you edit the file to add your SQL server details.

Or quite a common problem seems to be with files getting corrupted during the FTP process.
