Hi,

i'm running the WebWizForum application for a while on my website now. I wanna upgrade to the latest version.

Which tables/fields need to be altered/filled in order to get the forum running without losing my old topics/posts/users etc...?

depending on what version you are on you may be able to just delete the forum (not database) and upload all the new files.

you will also need the V6- V7 updater from the forum downloads page.

use the updater (make sure you have back up of old forum database) and then if access version just uplaod the database making sure the paths to it in the common.asp files are correct.

if you are using SQL you will need look into the update. in the forums there is lots about updating.

I tried to take a look at the V6 to V7 updater. Problem is, i'm running on a sql server database.

Can somebody please specify which changes the V6 - V7 updater makes to the database?
