Hello Everyone: I just had a couple of rather simple questions regarding the forum. for image uploading, I know I need to have an ASP upload component installed on the web server, I called my web host and they told me they had an upload component and that the ASP file system object was enabled, it's just that they didn't have any of the ones listed in the options on the forum itself, I've also enabled a "upload" folder on the root folder of the site, yet I still get the following error messages:

"

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a004c'

Path not found

/forum/RTE_file_browser.asp, line 196"

I also get this message after I choose a file for upload

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a004c'

Path not found

/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 92

Thank you for any help

Without one of the listed upload components installed on the web server you can not use the upload features.

All the most popular upload components are supported and I'm very surprised that your web host does not support one of the listed upload components.

The error message that you mention above is because the path to your upload folder is incorrect. The upload folder should be left at it's default location as a sub folder of the forum and not placed in the root of your web site.

Thank you for your time boRg:
I didn't move the original upload folder, I didn't even know it came with one I just deployed the application and didn't move any of the original files, yet I still had the same error message, after that I just created the "upload" folder and placed it on the roor of the site...I'll delete it, could it be that the default permissions are triggering that message?...I'll call my webhost again and hopefully I'll get a smarter tech support because I don't think the other one knew what I was talking about.

Thank you so much for your prompt response
