I've used WWF for quite awhile now but changed over from Access to SQL on version 7.51a. I now what to do the update to 7.7, is there any easy way, are the updates cumulitive?(sp?) Is there an update script for something like this.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

there is no update script.

you need to look in the version history and update the file within the updates.

you will also have to check if any stored procedures what been updated, i think it may only be .asp files that have been edited.

Can you just re-run the msSQL_server_setup.asp file, will that add the new tables needed and save the old ones and the database info?

How can I check if the "stored procedures" have been updated?

Any help is appriciated.

Cheers

i belive from v7.01 there was no database table work done.

there may have been a few stored procedures done.. you could gelete the stored procedure in the SQL database and then in the MSSQL_server_setup.asp file delete the section that create hte tables/relationships etc and just leave the stored procedures and then run the page again. which will create them and any alteration that have been made.

we must strongly recommend you upgrade to at least V7.8 .. if not V7.9 as there was a major security hole before this release.

yet again there has been no database work only .asp work.

for more details on the files that have been changed look in the version history file
