Dear All,

I have moved my forum (v7.01) to a new server and I have started to encounter a problem. I have set permissions on the folder and file for the database.

When a topic is posted, I get the message:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e21'

No current record.

/forum/post_message.asp, line 749

The record is created in the threads table, but if you try to access the entry on the forum you get:

"Topic: There are no posts in the database relating to this topic"

Any suggestions?

Sounds like your access database is corrupted. Try compacting and repairing the database.

Thanks for the reply. Even with a compact and repair, I still had the same problem.

I uploaded a completely fresh database and that sorted the problem out.

Just got to do all the configuration again....
