Is there any way to prevent the 'bad word filter' from replacing parts of words?  For example, if I set up a word replacement for 'ass' in the filter, it replaces it in the middle of 'class' and 'passing' etc.  It also breaks any images or links that include those letters as part of the URL.

Suggestions?

The bad word filter is on the 'todo' list to be re-written to improve the way it works, for the moment I'm afraid you are stuck with the present system.

Mmkay - no biggie.  Glad to hear that it'll be worked around sometime.  For now I'll just leave as is... the number of people who are going to run into the problem is probably slim!

Keep up the good work...

If you just want to filter whole words, try putting a space before and after the filter text - e.g. " ass " instead of "ass"

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
