Can I use DSN for SQL Database version for forum?

for ex,   strCon = "DSN=forum"

Which one is better

DSN  or   SQL OLE DB

Web Wiz Forums can not use a DSN with MS SQL Server.

Using a DSN-less connection is always faster than a DSN connection as less hits have to be made on the OS's registery.
