    Posted: 17 July 2006 at 7:23pm
Hi all,

I'm having problems aligning the forum left, by editing the CSS sheet I can tell it to be 760px long (to fit an 800 x 600 screen) but would like it to not display any larger than this.

The default.asp file sets the tables to align to centre, so when placing a header and a footer, they are aligning left but the rest of the site aligns centered. I can change this to left but then every other file will reset the forum to be centrered so am looking for a way to use CSS to set this up

Can anyone help? And can CSS override table settings?

Many thanks,

Alasdair

If you are unfamiliar with CSS then try editing the CSS Style Sheet in TopStyle Pro. This should help get the CSS exactly how you want it.

Thanks for the reply,

I will download the program and give it a go -  Would CSS be able to override table settings, as I think the tables being set to align to center are overriding the CSS code?

Cheers,

Alasdair

CSS is used to align the tables, change the CSS file and you change the alignment.
