Hi

Everything on my forum seems to be working fine. Registration, pm's and email are all up an running.

The problem occurs when a user access their settings menu, and choose Registration Details, to change their password.

This error message appairs:

 Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'

Variable is undefined: 'strTxtConfirmOldPass'

/forum/register.asp, line 1478

I can't seem to find a solution to this, since everything else works perfect. Do you guys have a clue what could cause this?

To be honest, I'm not a senior in asp programming, so all help would be appreciated.

Sincerely yours

Kjell

have you edited the files at all.

apart from the common.asp files.

its because strTxtConfirmOldPass is not declaired. try adding Dim strTxtConfirmOldPass.

first i would suggest you upload the register.asp file again else do the abve. add that to the Section where things are DIMed. also check to see if the one above is there .

it should be .

Hi!

Thank you for the answer. I actually found the problem before i red your answer. My language files wasn't up to date, so I added the parts missing. Works like a charm!

Newbie error I guess :-)

Thank you again.
