Problem with Membership Activation

Hi everyone,

I've problem with the Membership Activation function.

The new member receives an email with an activation link. After clicking on it, the browser opens and that's all: the page is blank, with only the activation link in the Adress Bar.

Could you tell me why, and how to resolve? Thanks a lot.

It could be that the path to your forum is incorrect in the admin area.

Upgrade to the latest version 8.03 and see if that fixes the issue, as you may have a corrupted file.

May I upgrade the version 8.03 without uploading all directories and files extracted on the harddisk to the server?

We've modified somes images and the languages files in the version 7.x, and do not want to spend time to do all again.

You do need to replace all files with that from version 7.

However, allot of the images remain the same, so you can use your images still in version 8.

Also, the language files carry on from version 7, so you only need to translate the new parts of the language file, which is about 20 new lines.
