OK, now were getting somewhere, you are using mySQL.

With mySQL you will need to download some software that allows you to view and modify mySQL database tables like SQLyog

This will then allow you to enter data directly into the database tables, os you can follow the instructions I gave in my previous post.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I gave you wrong information. This is all so new to me, and I am having a hard time remembering whether I have MySQL or just SQL.

In fact I am NOT using "MySQL"; I am using an MS SQL Server Database.

And again, to repeat what I said above: When i go into the SQL functions I have something that says "Query Analyser". But then there is just a big blank box underneath that I would guess I'm supposed to type something into? And then a submit/reset set of buttons. I also have the option to "show execution plan". So what now?

SQL Sever is different again.

You don't use the query analyser in SQL Server, you should be able to right click the table and choose 'Open Table', as simple as that.

However, this can be different depending on which version of SQL Server you are using and the tool you use connecting to the database.

Before I waste anymore time going through stuff that is not applicable, could be please tell me:-

What database are you using?
What database version?
What tool are you using to connect to the database?
