I'm afraid I couldn't say as your post doesn't really have any info what you are doing when this happens and when, why, etc. this occurs?
Also, if you use Firefox's javascript console it will give a more
accurate javascript error, as the cryptic javascript error message in
IE is completely useless.
Many javascript errors are as a result of bad site integration or corrupted files, so try reuploading the original files again.
