Hello.  Thanks for a great update!

I see now I configure my secure SMTP server in the email config of the forums and not via the *.asp page anymore.

I have entered in my SMPT server along with the credentials to access my SMTP server.  I have the email component set to CDOSYS.

I receive the following error when replies are made that want an email notification:

Any direction would be greatly appreciated. :)

I did a search for this error on Google and it seems that you get this error if your SMTP servers username and or password are incorrect, or your account on the SMTP server has been disabled.

And boRg, you would be absolutely correct.  In putting in my credentials for my SMTP server, it requires "user@domain.com" for the username.  I had inadvertently left off the domain portion.

I corrected this and tested.  It now sends mail correctly with no errors.

Thank you for your assistance :)
