At wwg...

The RSS feeds here work ok except for the one on the main forum index page - http://forums.webwiz.net/default.asp

FireFox returns the following error:
XML Parsing Error: junk after document element
Location: http://forums.webwiz.net/RSS_topic_feed.asp
Line Number 1, Column 7:
<br /><strong>Server Error in Forum Application</strong><br />An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.<br />Please contact the forum administrator.<br /><br /><strong>Support Error Code:-</strong> err_SQLServer_get_RSS_topic_data<br /><strong>File Name:-</strong> RSS_topic_feed.asp<br /><br /><strong>Error details:-</strong><br />Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server<br />Timeout expired<br /><br />
------^

IE Just blanks out.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

It's working, the error is an SQL Server error.

The SQL Server has timeout, this is due to the site running from an MSDE 2000 database which has a limitation of 8 concurrent connections.

With the high demand on the site at present we are exceeding this amount thus connections to the database are being queued which can lead to timeouts at times of high load on the server.

As soon as money permits I am hoping to move the site to a new more powerful server with SQL Server 2005 Express which doesn't have a limitation on the number of users.
