Hi. I use v.8 RC1.1.
When my users upload avatars and update their profiles they get the error below. Upload size and file types match the predefined criteria. I use PersistUpload. Thanks.
 
 Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e21'

The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.

Looks like the file name is to long for the database field.

Are you using an upgraded database?

Borg you are right, now I tried uploading th axe.gif and it worked. But when I try to upload character_bonehead.gif for instance, I get this error. I use an upgraded database. Is there an easy way of fixing that?

I shall see if I can find why this is happening.

For the moment open your database, and increase the amount of data that the field 'avatar' can hold in the tblAuthor table, as it will prevent this error.
