I am experiencing following error while uploading files.


Persits.Upload.1 error '800a0005'

The system cannot find the file specified.

/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 68

Line 68 Code

'Persits AspUpload upload component - tested with version 3.0

Can anyone help me to solve this problem please.

Contact your web hosts as they may have disabled the AspUpload object from using the SaveVirtual method.

Above error is with Persists ASO Upload and following is the error with ASP simple upload

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

What component should I select in my wwf against readyhosting link above and what is most likely cause of this problem? Please help.

Looks like the saveVirtual method is support by your hosting company.

It could then be a path issue, make sure that the path to your upload folder is correct in the amdin area and the upload folder exists.

I also needed to conform from you what component I should select in my admin area as hosting comapny is saying that I can use ASPUpload but ASPUpload is not available in wwf admin area. or is it a name confusion to me?Confused
and I have checked the upload folder path, it is also correct in my forum.

Persits AspUpload is what your host is referring to and it is supported.
