Hi,

Even after 3 attempts, CAPTCHA is not displaying in login form.

Any solutions?

In what way is it not displaying?

Is there an error, or does it simply not display?

How it is triggered to work is.

For each account you have 3 attempts at making a login without the CAPTCHA code appearing, after the 3rd attempt the CAPTCHA code needs to be entered.

For example, if you try 3 times to login as the user '-borg-' on this forum after the 3rd attempt if anyone else, even myself on a different PC, tries to login as '-borg-' I will be required to type in a CAPTCHA security code.

If you just type in a random user, or a none existing user in each login attempt you won't see the CAPTCHA image as it is done on an member basis with each member accounting logging the number of un-successful attempts made on it.

This protects against a dictionary or brute attack because if a hacker were to guess at the admins or another users password, they would have only 3 attempts on that account before the CAPTCHA image is displayed.
