Hi,
 
I believe it would be a nice idea to release a service pack to eliminate all bugs and errors discovered (and fixed) so far.
 
For those who have participated in beta testing program, it would be easier to get rid of known issues and concentrate on other unkown ones. Also, sometimes changing the code to fix a bug may cause a new bug to show up (this is a known issue in Microsoft Windows Wink).
 
Also, several people are joining this site and downloading beta version every week, and most of them reporting known issues again and again. With a service pack, it will not happen so frequently.
 
Just a thought.

Service packs would be a nice idea, but there just isn't the time to put them together as it would mean having to have two seporate trunks to version 8, which would mean having to fix bugs in the service pack release and in the future beta version. It also takes quite a while to test and package up a release.

New beta versions are being released as fast as they are being developed with beta 2 being released on or before March 1st next week.
