Good morning wizerites,
 
This morning I found a problem with the SQL database, someone had requested a username change by email last night and then this morning her username field was blank in the table. I didn't think there was a way to edit the username by either the user or admin. I'm using EM to access the record and put the username back.) I'm curious, has anyone else seen this?
 
This is the second anomaly in as many weeks. The other was loosing half of an email address. I think I know how that happened but not sure how they were able to reactivate their account.

there is only 1 way that a username can be changed and thats through the admin area,. by admins.

the other option may have happened it was does by an SQL query, or done though a database application like EM or access

Yes, that's how I fixed it. (EM backway) I didn't know about the admin username change and after your post I found it ... thanks. There is only one other with admin level access and she denies touching it so I'm still at a loss. The user admitted to editing her signature, but that should have touched the username field.
