I quite agree site master, but in reality this doesn't happen.

At present cookie issues are the most asked support question, also looking at large Web Wiz Forums installations it seems that allot of people are very nagative of web wiz forums, just becuase of this issue.

Sounds good to me.
The amount of can't log in / can't vote in polls etc queries I get are unbelievable. Deleting Cookies solves 99% of these problems. Borg must get these same queries 1000 times over.

The forum will still use cookies, it's just that for those users that cookies don't work for there will be a backup system.

I've done allot of the work now for it, but I now want to look into adding more security.

By using the new system I also hope to make the login system for those using cookies also more secure.

I've bene reading some articles on how it works in phpBB and also want to add some of my own ideas, but overall I hope to have a quite a secure system.

The new session table will also be stored at application level, this should give better performance and more security.

As free web servers share application variables and beceuase of many new advnaced fetaures in Web Wiz Forums, version 8 will not be supported on free web hosting, so I'm afraid users will need to be on a full hosting account to run the software.

Yes, please, that would be great. I'm looking for an AV player integration into WWF. I've got some hoops here at home, and some lighter fluid, and if you strike a match, I'll jump through those flaming hoops to get AV player integration in WWF. :)

You've got 2 of the 3 things for a secure media player, the Login, the Uploading to private directories, and all it needs is the means to distribute (play) them.

I love the feel of WWF8 btw, I'll be waiting for release.
