100's Member complaining that they cant login i dun know exactly  the prob they are facing but i found lot inactiveness after this problemOuch
i think it is due to CAPTCHA...........
i hope u should tell me the sol

Version 8 is still in beta and shouldn't be used on a production server for these exact reasons as it is a test version containing many bugs and you may not be able to upgrade to the full version when released.

The problem sounds like your site and/or server is having issues with keeping the ASP session. This could be due to server issues, or your site is on load balanced or using a web garden.

Web Wiz Forums version 8 beta 2 will have support for load balanced servers and web gardens so should clear up these issues as long as you are able to make database changes to upgrade your database to beta 2.

Beta 2 will also have a system whereby the CAPTCHA images are not used until 3 un-successful login attempts are recorded for that user.

I'm afraid that this is the reason why it says in big bold red letters not to use the beta software on a production server.

The only solution is wait for beta 2 to be released, and hope that you are good enough with databases to make the changes required.

There are no simple solutions to this issue as every file in v8 beta 2 has been re-written in some way to support the new beta 2 login system.

I'm hoping to have beta 2 ready for release by March 1st (next week)
