can’t access topics with deleted members

I was trying to clean up our forums membership list and deleted inactive members... now any topic that had a post from a deleted member cannot be accessed (by anyone ever.... simply get a 404 error page).   How can I restore those topics?   I'm using version 7.01.

It won't be a 404 error, but a 500 internal server error.

Turn off friendly HTTP error messages in IE so you get an accurate error message. This will track down what the issue is.

Also 7.01 is quite old and for security reasons you should upgrade to version 7.97 as soon as possible.

It will give you extra features, better security, faster performance, and bug fixes.

You're right, of course, about the error page.  (and btw, planning to upgrade soon...)

Because you are using an old version it will be hard to know what is in the line that is coursing the error.

Try upgrading to the latest version and see if that solves the issue.
