Borg, I think that the REPLIES part on the board is not counting correctly (on the columns where it states views and replies)

There are threads with replies in them where the reply count is 0. Also threads with a couple of replies and the reply count is one.

The number of replies is now held in the Topic table instead of people counted on the fly to speed up processing time.

This meant to get the old database to work with the new forum I had to write an ASP file that counted the number of replies and got the last author name and entered them into the new database, which I thought worked OK.

Could you please tell me where abouts I can find posts where the reply count is in error so that I can check this, as I can not find any that are incorrect.

I forgot to mention, replies are counted as a reply to the original post, the first post in a topic is not counted as a reply.

Thanks for that I think I've now found the problem.

I was thinking along the lines of older topics, but I've think I've now found it.

It looks like if a post is hidden I have forgotten to increment the number of replies when the post is approved.
