difference of text and NText data types ?

I use sql version of webwiz 7.95

is There any problem if I Convert message.tblthread   &  pm message.tblpmmessage    data type   from  Text  to Memo ???

and what is difference of text and memo data types  in sql server ???

The 'Memo' field datatype is simular to the 'Text' datatype in SQL except that SQL server doesn't have a datatype of 'Memo'.

When converting Access datatypes to SQL server 'Memo' becomes 'Text'

oh -  sorry !

My question is here :
I use web wiz forum On a Persian(Farsi) web site .
but when users insert persian data , in text data type , the persian datas convert to ????? ????? ?????? ????? ????? .
but in other types for example : ntext , nvar... , ...  the persian data show correctly .


is There any problem if I Convert message.tblthread   &  pm message.tblpmmessage    data type   from  Text  to NText ???

OR ANY ONE CAN GIVE ME A CODE FOR sql query analayzer THAT
 
change the database collation name from :
 
SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI
 
to
 
Arabic_cl_AS  ???
 
I think this solve my problem ...

There is a big difference between Text an NText fields in SQL.  Text fields are limited in size while NText are not.  NText in SQL is the same as memo in access.
