Pleazzzze help!

I have to forums on the same site in two different databases and the files in two different folders.

When a user gets an e-mail notify - it is the wrong foldername in the link. It's the foldername of the other forum. The ID of the topic/post is OK.

If I edit the foldername in the admin

I've changed the strCookieName in one of the forums, so it's two different name, but that didn't solve the problem.

Anyone any ideas?

Best regards
LuckyLuke

you need ot be running the lite version on one of the forums

the issue is the application arrays /veribles are being shared and using the others forum settings.

you need ot put the domauins within , seperate domauins/sub domains, OR application pools. or use the lite version on one of them

I'm sorry! I don't get the idea. I didn't knew there where a lite version... I've purchased my copy and recieved a link removal key.

Can you give an ex for "Put the domains within, seperate domains/sub domains, or application pools".

Thanx in advance

ok, the issue is the 2 forums are using the same application pool.

so you can either puit one forum iwthin a sub domain

OR

get your host to put both directorys in different application pools

OR

download the lite version, and upload that over one forum, makling one not use the active useres or application veribles (this is the issue part)

OR

you can edit the common.asp files of one forum, and turn of blnApplicationVeribles = False

that will then solve the issues.
