Hi there,
I have seen the posts about how to migrate from Snitz if you are using an Access database, but I cant find any information about using an MSSQL database.

Should I just follow the Access instructions?

Hi DJ Air,
I dont have an Access database, I have a MSSQL database. It currently has my Snitz forum tables in it. Its this MSSQL database that I want to migrate to Web Wiz Forum again using MSSQL, not Access.

Cheers for looking.

ok all you need to do with that script is

  • change the connection string to your existing MS SQL database for snitz
  • change any true's/false to 1/0
and run the script, it will/should then be ok.

Excellent, sounds like it will do the job nicely. I was worried about the Access conversion when it said to do a repair to reset the ids, as you cant do this to SQL.

I will let you know how I get on.
