Username creation problem

	Hi all, I have a user in my WWForum that has the name "alter Ego" His username displays like this - 'alter Ego' instead of "alter Ego" When you go to PM this user it either shows alter Ego' OR just 'alt' What is causing this? anyone know? is it thinking its "Alt E" command? 	this is because alter can be used within SQL commands to alter tables therefore the e is changed into the html equalivent and that is why you get your output.

	is there a way to remedy this? and... if not... can the user keep the name and ignore the symbols that come up... should still work anyways? thanks b5s

	im not to sure on this but , try using decodeString() use that function on the value within the pm_new_message filename somewthing like that, that will then hopefully stop you seeing that value, it should then be ok, let us know. borg may need to look into this
