Required Registration Fields.

How would I go about making more of the fields *required to complete the registration process? Currently, the only one's required are valid email address and name. On my board, I need to collect more information from the participants like the State they hail from and making sure they put something in the signature field, etc.

Is there an easy way to do that or is it something I need a mod for?
