Hi,

Thank you Borg for bringing us such a good quality editor Clap. I have a question about full path used by images and links.

Full path is added when adding images or links (e.g. http://www.mywebsite.com/images/smiley3.gif).
Nothing changes when changing: 'blnUseFullURLpath' ("True" or "False") and 'strFullURLpathToRTEfiles' ("http://" by default) variables.

Is it a bug or I am doing it wrong?

You will need to type in the full URL path to the RTE folder into the variable 'strFullURLpathToRTEfiles' eg:-

strFullURLpathToRTEfiles = "http://myweb.com/RTE/"

As well as change '
blnUseFullURLpath' to true eg:-

blnUseFullURLpath = true

Thank you for that quick response.

As you know, I'm integrating RTE2 in my instant website application. Lots of my users start creating their content on their local server and upload it afterwards. The problem with the full path is that when an image is added the full path is written (e.g. http://localhost/sitedynamic/myimage.gif instead of http://www.mywebsite.com/myimages.gif).

I had that same problem with my previous editor. I can surely change that but I think it would be a good idea for all to have the choice between relative or full path.

I did think about adding such an item, but I thought that it would just add another layer of complexity when setting up the application as it is amazing the number of people who have problems entering correct paths.

Some people always seem to get physical server paths and URL's mixed up, then there's always people who try and enter paths to different servers, the whole thing just gets totally confusing.

But if it's something that allot of people require I shall certainly look into adding it in future versions.
