As I understand it you can use the * wildcard to create a IP range ban but does this only apply after the dot or could you use * after part of a number??

For example if I wanted to block IP range 112.200.200.x - 112.200.209.x would an IP ban 112.200.20* work as required or interpreted as 112.123.20.* ??
