Hi,

My current host does not allow the use of the System.xml class library which means I cannot utilise the Amazon Product Advertising API or any of their other web services.

Do your hosting packages allow this library?
Are there any Microsoft libraries that you have disabled?

If I was to transfer my website, is there a setup or transfer fee?

Regards,

Ian.

Yes you can use System.xml class library.

All hosting packages come no setup fee and a 14 day free trial so you can test your website runs on our network without loosing any money if you find that the service is not for you.

Good evening,

I have been with WebWiz for a while now and the attitude is very much; Yes, maybe it isn’t the obvious default setting and you need to ask support about it, but tell them what you want and they will set it up that way.

I would be surprised if there is anything that you want to do, other than spam porn, that you won’t be able to do here.

Bye

Ian

Why does anyone need more than an 80x25 character only VDU?

Thanks Bruce & Ian.

Next question.

I currently have 4 registered domains (.co.uk & .com). I have them pointing to the same website.
Can I use such a configuration with the Standard Hosting Package, or do I need to consider one of the others?

Ian.

Yes you can have up to 10 domains all pointing to the same website and mail domain from the Standard Hosting Package.

However, as Google and other search engines will mark you down for duplicate content for having multiple domains point to the same website I would suggest using Web Forwarding with a 301 redirect to your main domains website for better search engine optimisation.

You would usually setup Web Forwarding with your Domain Provider, but check to see if they offer a 301 redirect and not a 302 for the service. If they do not then you can always transfer the domain to us and setup the Web Forwarding through your Registration Domain Manager.
